FAQ

As the idea of coaching grows and people start to see the benefits of coaching, more and more people have coaching questions!

What is it? How is it different from counseling?

Why do I need a coach? What do coaches do?

Let’s answer some of these coaching questions!

Life coaching is a supportive partnership designed to help you navigate challenging seasons, difficult decisions, transitions, hardships, relationships, or simply times when you want to learn and grow. Having a coach means having someone to listen, act as a sounding board, and ask questions that help you process and gain clarity.

While I specialize in coaching women with personal experience in ministry (both stateside and overseas), neurodiversity, and complicated marriages, I also love working with women in areas like personal growth, goal setting, accountability, and overall health—spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional.

Typical sessions last 55 minutes. For going deeper into your personal work, I offer longer intensives. It’s a powerful option to go deeper faster.

I love journaling and giving practical homework—think books, podcasts, and helping you explore what’s really going on in your mind. But you’re always free to go at your own pace and show up just as you are, even if all you need is a space to talk.

I’m trained in Personal Development Coaching using The Equipping Profile, a research-based tool that helps you uncover core beliefs, balance your thinking, and take action with purpose. With training and personal experience in neurodiversity, I support clients navigating life, work, and relationships with autism or ADHD in the mix. As an ordained minister with experience in ministry and overseas work, I always bring it back to identity in Christ—because lasting transformation starts there.

Yes! Coaching sessions happen on Zoom, so you can work with me from anywhere. If you want to travel or live in Michigan, I have an in-person office in Gaylord, MI.

The cost depends on the topic, bundle length and financial situation. Please contact me for individualized pricing. Once we connect, you’ll receive my full coaching agreement with more details before we begin.

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. No show sessions or late cancelations will be charged as a full session.

I offer session bundles (4 at a time) to make things easier—fewer invoices, less hassle, and your sessions can be scheduled in advance. It keeps your spot on the calendar and gives us a clear plan moving forward. Bundles are paid ahead of time and come with a small discount, which is always a plus.

Prefer to go one session at a time? That’s totally fine too—just let me know by email or during your session.

Yes, I do have add-on packages available for bundle clients only if more connection and support is needed in between sessions. This would include back-and-forth emails, texts, and/or voice messages. Extra support can be very helpful for high stress, difficult relationships, and high conflict seasons of life when you need in-the-moment help.

Coaching is here to nurture your unique journey of growth.

No, once sessions or bundles or classes are purchased, the fees are non-refundable. If there is an extenuating circumstance, let’s definitely talk about options.

Yes, bundles expire at four months. You can use your bundle sessions as fast as you’d like… I love weekly or bi-weekly sessions. But, for those who like to spread things out a bit, this expiration window provides space for one session a month—giving you time to reflect, check in, and keep moving forward with intentional rhythm. At the four month mark, you’ll be asked to purchase a new bundle.

Yes, I do work with couples but on a limited scope. I do not do couples counseling or high-conflict sessions. We will work on understanding each other, goals, communication skills practice or other basic couples work. This can also go well with you current couples counseling, if there are things you are meant to be practicing or working on together. I can help guide that practice.

Because there are two people in session, I charge slightly more than my regular rates, again based on each unique couple. I will bundle and invoice the requested number of sessions once we agree upon coaching and pricing.

Coaching focuses on your future goals and actions, while counseling often explores healing from past trauma. As an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, I can lean into ministerial counseling and offer some pastoral support along with coaching. It’s a perfect blend of story work and future focus!

If you need deep trauma work, having a clinical therapist is best. I can help you navigate finding someone who is a good fit for your story.

I am a Certified Professional Christian Life Coach, Certified Neurodiversity Coach, and ordained minister, equipped to offer coaching across many areas of life. I’m passionate about accountability and problem-solving—I love big projects and helping people navigate them! I also deeply care about health and wholeness, having personally struggled with health challenges for years while balancing medical appointments, therapies, nutrition, supplements, and exercise.

Having a coach to support that journey can be invaluable. I especially enjoy working with women serving in ministry, both stateside and overseas, understanding how complex and demanding that life can be. Additionally, I have a heart for women in ministry navigating the impact of neurodiversity—such as autism, ADHD, sensory processing, and special needs—on their families and marriages.
