Coaching Intensive

There are times when you need an intensive session. Something with all the time for all the words and a compassionate someone to listen.

You need a coach to dive into the story with you.

You know it’s going to take time to pour it all out because once it starts, your story needs a safe place to land.

What if your story had more space to breathe?

Sometimes, there is an inner voice tangle—parts of us that carry fear, shame, self-protection, or deep longing.

This tangle causes stress, confusion, turmoil, and often, a feeling of being stuck, not knowing what to do with all the voices inside.

Coaching is a great place to work out the tangle of emotions, voices, situations, childhood experiences, current relationships, and all the anxiety, shame, grief, and crazy it all brings.

It’s not about fixing. It’s about listening.

I use a blend of story mapping, white board brain dumping, and IFS resources to help with the crazy.

It tends to work itself out pretty quickly once it’s untangled and you can see it all in front of you.

The road to healing is still a long process of internal work, but it can be sped up a bit with an intensive or two!

If this kind of work is calling to you, an intensive might be a perfect place to start.

What is a Coaching Intensive?

3-Hour Introductory Intensive Session

It’s a focused, longer coaching session for story work, timeline reflection, and a plan for moving forward. It’s perfect if you want to start your healing journey with clarity, space, and compassion. Sometimes, that’s all you need.

But, if your story needs more time to breathe and untangle, you can add another intensive.

Breaks built in, of course.

What is the investment?

$300 per 3-hour session – with your choice of number of intensive sessions. There’s also a 2 hour option available.

In-Person or Virtual Sessions

A few more questions…

Does this have to be in person?

Not at all. While in-person intensives offer a uniquely focused and connected experience, these coaching sessions can absolutely be done over Zoom. Virtual sessions are just as powerful and allow you to engage in the work from the comfort of your own space. Whether we meet in person or online, the heart of the work remains the same—supportive, personal, and deeply meaningful.

Can I do this work without the intensive?

This kind of work can absolutely be done in regular 1:1 coaching sessions—but to experience the real benefit, it takes intention: weekly sessions for a short season, reflection between calls, and a willingness to explore explore your story with curiosity and care over a longer period of time.

Why consider in-person sessions?

In-person coaching allows for a deeper sense of presence and connection. Being together in the same space often creates a safe, grounded environment that helps you feel more supported as you do meaningful work. We can use physical tools like whiteboards or post-it notes for mapping your story and visualizing your inner world, which many clients find helpful and clarifying. Plus, stepping away from your usual environment—even for a few hours—can offer powerful perspective and space to process in a fresh, focused way.

Can this kind of work be done in coaching?

Yes—with some important boundaries. Coaching is a powerful space for growth, clarity, and healing around your story, patterns, and personal goals. Internal Family Systems (IFS) can be a meaningful part of that process. While counseling often focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, coaching creates space for growth, insight, and movement forward.

However, if you’re working through deep trauma, active crisis, or unprocessed pain that requires clinical support, I recommend connecting with a licensed counselor or therapist. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but it can be a beautiful complement to therapy—or a helpful next step when you’re ready to move forward with insight and support.
